Mike Devine is a technology leader with over 25 years of experience in a wide variety of industries.

His primary area of expertise is agile software development, which calls for a common-sense, iterative approach that helps engineers build useful applications and systems. In early 2024, Mike began a new leadership role at kfc, where he is leading the agile process for their website and mobile app teams.

For the previous 13 years, Mike worked at Comcast, where he managed a team of talented scrum masters and developed agile training workshops. He also served as a scrum master for several engineering teams, including Xfinity Mobile and the interactive division that launched xfinity.com, the consumer portal with over 40 million monthly users at the time.

Mike believes in communicating without resorting to corporate buzzwords, starting meetings on time and ending them early, and keeping a healthy sense of humor (Office Space quotes are a personal favorite).

Earlier in his career, Mike worked at GlaxoSmithKline as a web developer on tactical projects and as a technical lead for strategic r&d applications. Mike also built healthcare-related websites at two interactive agencies, Medical Broadcasting Company and Refinery, Inc., and developed financial data warehouse systems at Vanguard.

Mike is a proud alumnus of Penn State University, where he majored in Management Science and Information Systems. He also completed an honors curriculum and senior thesis through Penn State’s University Scholars Program (now the Schreyer Honors College).

Mike lives in Newtown Square, Pa., with his wife and two sons.
